DAY 01: Arrival
Arrive at Siem Reap International Airport, transfer to hotel, and rest of the day free at your own leisure. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 02: Sunrise Small-Group Tour of Angkor Wat from Siem Reap
Breakfast at your hotel and after having your breakfast go out to The UNESCO-listed Angkor Wat is the star attraction of Cambodia and the magnificent temple complex is even more atmospheric at sunrise. This full-day small-group tour from Siem Reap makes an early start to avoid the crowds and visits highlights including Angkor Thom, Ta Prohm, and Bayon temple (entrance fees at your expense). Hotel pickup and drop-off are included.
Stop At: Angkor Wat We begin with a pre-dawn departure (4.00 to 4.30 am depending on the time of year) from your hotel for sunrise outside Angkor Wat. Enter the great temple in darkness from the little-visited eastern side, and creep along hoary cloistered corridors past the longest stretch of bas-relief carvings in the world. Soak up the atmosphere of dawn at Angkor Wat, from the edge of one of the ancient library pools. We then explore the interior of the great temple, spending a thorough two hours discovering the corridors, central chambers, and upper terraces of this truly great temple. Your expert local guide will decipher the myriad of stories behind the bas-relief carvings, and give you an insight into life during the height of the Khmer empire. We end our tour at Angkor with breakfast outside the temple (take away, from your hotel), and a short rest.

Pass By: Terrace of the Elephants Pass by the famous Terrace of the Leper King, and the Terrace of Elephant. Stop At: Ta Prohm Temple One of the most atmospheric of all temples in Angkor. Once home to 2,740 monks, Ta Prohm today looks much as it did in the early 1850s when French explorer Henri Mouhot ‘rediscovered this crumbling site. After exploring the maze-like interior of Ta Prohm, return to your hotel after a long but fulfilling day, which will leave you with a lifetime of memories of one of the wonders of the world.
Day 03: The Cambodian Circus Show in Siem Reap

Evening enjoys your Cruise with mesmerized by the captivating choreography and hypnotic color of a Phare performance in Siem Reap. Feast your senses on a spectacle that blends riveting theater with folk music and distinctly Cambodian stories. Commend the determination of the young circus artists, many of who are from challenging social and economic backgrounds, as they hypnotize the audience with their energy and emotion. Gain insight into the charity Phare Ponleu Selpak and discover the work the organization does to help vulnerable children and adults in Cambodian society.
Make your own way to the impressive theatre in the historical heart in Siem Reap and take your seat in the position selected at the time of booking. Hear an expectant hush descend over the audience as the curtains part to reveal a talented troupe of acrobats and dancers of Phare Ponleu Selpak (PPS); marvel at the sleek agility of the performers, all of who derive from unimaginably difficult situations, and feel the melodic pulsations of the music as the show launches into life.
Day 04: Half-Day Kompong Phluk, Tonle Sap Lake from Siem Reap
Breakfast at your hotel and after having your breakfast enjoy the Cruise Tonle Sap Lake to Kompong Phluk on a half-day tour from Siem Reap, and explore the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia. See communities that thrive at the edge of the water, pass floating schools and markets, and visit a local home to get a glimpse of daily life and culture. This half-day Kompong Phluk tour includes all activities, as well as pickup and drop-off at Siem Reap hotels, and both morning and afternoon departures are available.
Stop At: Kampong Phluk Floating Village Meet the guide at your hotel lobby in Siem Reap for morning or afternoon departure—morning pickups are a variety between 7:30 am to 8:30 am, while afternoon trips depart at 2 pm and pick up variety between 1 pm to 2 pm. So guests are advised to wait in the hotel lobby and be ready to go as soon as their guide arrives. During the dry season (February to Jul), the village can be reached by minibus or motorbike, as the – bumpy – road that is normally flooded dries up. In the rainy season (August to Jan), a short boat ride from the quay, through the wetland area will take you to Kompong Phluk. It is not a floating village but a village on high stilts as well as some floating houses and in spite of fishing is often the privilege of the Vietnamese minority but inhabitants of Kompong Phluk are almost exclusively of Cambodian origin. The villagers frequently move from one house to another house during the rainy season, they live in houses built on stilts and move to small huts near the waterfront during the dry season to do fishing. Arrive at the quay, board a local boat for a 1.5-hour ride on the Tonle Sap Lake as well as village where you will see nature in a way you’ve only seen in picture books, and the tour of Kampong Phluk is worth the extra effort to get there, then we will visit the village, the pagoda on the only butte (the only building which is not on stilts) and see the activities of the villagers who your expert guide will teach you about their culture, the lifestyle, and the ecosystem of this fascinating place.

Your guide shows you river boulders with intricate carvings made during the Khmer Empire and natural pools at Phnom Kulen Waterfalls where you can swim. On the way there, view life in rural Cambodia and escape the crowds of Siem Reap.
Stop At: Phnom Kulen Waterfall Tour depart at 8:30 am and the guide picks up from 7:30 am to 8:30 am from your hotel lobby, then heading north towards Kulen Mountain through approximately a 2-hour drive in an air-conditioned vehicle. Enjoy the scenic ride along the way as you pass through local villages and verdant tropical forests. You will visit Cambodia’s biggest Reclining Buddha carved on sandstone. The temple is located on top of the hill and can be reached through a flight of steps. Next, you will set off to the sacred river of 1000 Lingas. The riverbed is interestingly carved with numerous Lingas, a phallic symbol of the Hindu god, Shiva. You will also see some rock carvings along the river depicting Hindu deities. You will continue through another sacred site, the Phnom Kulen Waterfalls. Calm your senses by watching the waterfall tumbling down the rocks. You will have time to wade in its basin and opt to cool off from the midday sun by swimming in its pool. Discover and learn more about the historical and cultural significance of Phnom Kulen as your expert guide walks you through each of these landmarks. Stop for lunch (your own account) at a local restaurant in the national park before heading back to your hotel.
Day 06: Experience Cambodian Living Arts, Dance Show

Day 07: Departure
