Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu.
On your arrival in Kathmandu, staff from Travelley will receive you at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) holding your nameplate with a warm welcome and greetings. You will be dropped off at to designated hotel. There is an option of walking to the suburb of the tourist center in THAMEL.
Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing. (Full Day)
At. 10:00 AM: After your breakfast, you will visit for a full day sightseeing of Pashupatinath temple, Boudhanath stupa, Swayambhunath, and Kathmandu Durbar Square. Once you complete your sightseeing, we will drop you back at your hotel.
Pashupatinath temple is the largest and holiest shrine for Hindus. This temple, situated on the bank of the Bagmati River was built in the 5th century There are around 492 temples, 15 Shivalayas (shrines of Lord Shiva), and 12 Jyotirlinga (phallic shrines) to explore. No entrance fee is charged for SAARC nationals to enter the temple. Although only Hindus are allowed to enter the temple, visitors can clearly see the temple and the activities performed in the temple premises from the eastern bank of the Bagmati river.
Boudhanath is one of the largest stupas in South Asia. It is the central hub of Buddhism in Nepal which is surrounded by hundreds of monasteries. Lichchavi rulers renovated the staple during the 8th century, which has made on the shape of a Mandala.
Swayambhunath is one of the most glorious, holiest, and oldest Stupa in the world. It is located on a small hillock in west Kathmandu hence commanding an excellent view of the valley. The stupa was built in 460 A.D. by King Manadeva, is also known by the name “Monkey Temple”.
Kathmandu Durbar Square is one of the three Durbar Squares of Kathmandu Valley. The Malla king Pratap Malla erected the statue of Hanuman (the Hindu god of power) in this place and it was named Hanuman Dhoka. Taleju Temple, Tribhuvan Museum, the house of Kumari (Living Goddess), Kasthamandap, the temple of Kal Bhairav along a few other temples are some places to explore.
Day 03: Drive to Pokhara (210 KM, Approx. 6-7 hours’ drive)
At. 08:00 AM: After breakfast, start driving to Pokhara (Approx. 6-8 hours of driving). On the way, you can visit the Manakamana temple. Also can experience river rafting in the Trishuli river.
Manakamana Temple,10 minutes cable car ride from a station called Kurintar takes you to the temple of Goddess Manakamana who is believed to have the power to fulfill wishes. Kurintar is 104 km away from Kathmandu to Pokhara.
Day 04: Sunrise view from Sarangkot and Pokhara Sightseeing. (Half Day)
At. 04:30 AM: Early in the morning, visit Sarangkot, experience the panoramic view of the Himalayas and beautiful sunrise from the hilltop.
At. 10:00 AM: After having your breakfast at the hotel you will get a certain time for optional activities in Pokhara. If you are not interested in any activities then you will go for half-day sightseeing to David’s fall, Gupteshwar Mahadev Cave, Seti George, Bindabasini Temple, Barahi Temple, and Phewa Lake. Besides that, you can enjoy a boat ride at Phewa Lake in the evening or in the early morning.
Sarangkot is a place from where the mind-blowing view of sunrise and sunset over the mountains can be seen. One of the famous Peace Pagoda is another attraction nearby Sarang Kot lies on the top of the opposite hill. Sarangkot is the viewpoint of Pokhara valley from where one can enjoy paragliding and zip flyer.
David’s falls is an amazing waterfall in Pokhara Valley that is nearly 500 feet long and runs 100 feet below ground level. It is also known as Patale Chango which means the underwater world. According to local old people, On 31st July 1961, a swiss couple Davi went swimming but the woman drowned in a pit. From that day the place is known as David’s falls.
Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, one of the longest caves of Nepal is nearly 3km long. There are some walls dripping water inside the cave and about 40m in, we can see the statue of Lord Shiva. Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave is near David’s falls.
Bindhyabasini temple is situated on the hilltop and 3000m from sea level. This religious place of Hindus living in the Pokhara region is devoted to the goddess Durga. Goddess Durga which is also known as Kali Mata is the symbol of a bloodthirsty goddess. Many people come here to worship and sacrifice animals.
Beautiful Lake Phewa is the second largest lake in Nepal. It covers an area of about 4.43 sq km with an average depth of about 8.6m, maximum water depth is 19m. The reflection of Mount Annapurna can be seen on Phewa lake. Another attraction of this lake is Barahi Temple made in pagoda style, which is an island in the middle of Phewa lake.
Day 05: Drive to Chitwan. (155 KM, Approx. 4-5 hours’ drive)
At. 08:00 AM: After your breakfast, proceed with your drive to Chitwan (Approx. 4-5 hours of driving). Upon reaching your resort, check in and have your lunch. Later visit for the Village Tour and Sunset view from Rapti river beach. Tharu cultural program will perform in the evening in your resort.
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner Included.
Day 06: Jungle Safari Activities. (Full Day)
At. 08:00 AM A full day Jungle activities like Elephant Safari or Jeep Safari, Canoe Ride, Jungle Walk, and Elephant Breeding Center visit at Sauraha. During the activity break, you will return to your hotel for lunch.
Chitwan National Park: Chitwan National Park, located in the western part of Kathmandu is 200 km away from the hustling and busy capital city. It has been serving the world-famous jungle safari in Nepal among visitors. It is also listed on UNESCO as one of the amazing national parks of the world One-Horned Rhino, Royal Bengal Tiger, Gharial Crocodile, Elephant Ride, and Bird Watching are the popular activities to do and watch there.
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner
Day 07: Drive back to Kathmandu. (160 KM, Approx. 5-6 hours of drive)
At. 06:00 AM: Early in the morning visit for the Bird Watching.
At. 08:00 AM: After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu. Upon reaching, check-in at the hotel. You will have a free evening to do your shopping around the tourist market, Thamel.
Day 08: Breakfast and departure to destination country
On this day, you will be served breakfast at the hotel and transport to Airport before departure time. In the remaining time, you may roam around and buy souvenirs.
