Passengers who do not have U.S. citizenship, permanent residence, or immigration status and are not covered by the exception categories listed below must submit proof of complete vaccination coverage as determined by U.S. authorities to be accepted on our flights at their first departure point before travel. The traveler has organized to become fully immunized against COVID-19 within 60 days of arriving in the United States or as soon as medically appropriate unless the passenger is too young to be vaccinated (in the case of children).
  1. The presidential proclamation and more detailed information may be accessed on the attached “Proclamation and detailed info” document.

Important Notes:

All passengers must complete, sign, and submit the revised attestation form to station officials at the initial departure point. These forms must be kept digitally at the initial departure stations for two years. All of our passengers will complete section 1 of the new attestation form. Non-US nationals, non-immigrants, and passengers who do not have a permanent residency permit will fill out Section 2 by following the guidelines on the form. Passengers aged 2 to 17 can fill out the affirmation form on their behalf with the help of their parents or authorized companions. Passengers who cannot fill out the form due to age or physical or mental disabilities might have accompanying passengers do so on their behalf.

The travel restriction to the United States, which is now in effect for passengers from the People’s Republic of China, Iran, Schengen nations, the United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, South Africa, Brazil, and India, will be lifted, and the general prohibition will be implemented for these passengers.

Travelers who are fully vaccinated no longer need to take a COVID-19 test and carry a negative result before flying to Canada. This new law will go into effect on April 1, 2022, and will apply to all travelers who have been properly vaccinated. Some tourists will be randomly selected for testing upon arrival in Canada but will not be quarantined until the test results are received.

Travelers arriving before April 1, 2022, must present a COVID19 fast antigen test result (taken 48 hours before flying) or a molecular test (taken 72 hrs before flight). A laboratory, healthcare organization, or telemedicine service must perform the rapid antigen test. Self-tests taken at home will not be approved for travel.

For unvaccinated passengers, quarantine is required, with mandatory testing on arrival and day 8. Travelers who have not been vaccinated will be permitted to enter Canada if they fulfill a few criteria.

Quarantine and other restrictions are not required for children traveling with fully immunized people.

Passengers who have tested positive for COVID19 must provide a positive COVID19 molecular test completed between 14 and 180 days before departure, rather than a negative COVID19 molecular test.
