Day 03: Makkah | Sightseeing in Makkah
Sightseeing in Makkah; visit Holy Makkah’s Islamic Historical Places such as: Mina, Arafat Maidan, Muzdalifa, Jabal-E-Soor, Jabal-E-Noor, Jannatul Muallah.
Mina: Mina is a tent city located approximately 5 kilometers from Makkah. It is primarily known for the Hajj pilgrimage, where millions of pilgrims stay in tents during the Hajj days.
Significance: Pilgrims spend the 8th to the 12th of Dhul-Hijjah here. It is the site for the ritual of stoning the devil (Ramy al-Jamarat) and commemorates the sacrifice of Ibrahim (Abraham).
Facilities: Mina is equipped with temporary accommodations in the form of air-conditioned tents, dining facilities, and medical services to cater to the vast number of pilgrims.
Arafat Maidan (Plain of Arafat): Arafat is located about 20 kilometers southeast of Makkah. It is a large plain where pilgrims gather for the climax of Hajj on the 9th day of Dhul-Hijjah.
Significance: The Day of Arafat is considered the most important day of Hajj, where pilgrims stand in prayer and supplication, seeking forgiveness. It is also the day when Prophet Muhammad delivered his farewell sermon.
Key Feature: The “Mount of Mercy” (Jabal al-Rahmah) is located here, and many pilgrims aspire to stand and pray near it.
Muzdalifah: Muzdalifah is situated between Mina and Arafat, around 10 kilometers from Mina. Pilgrims spend the night here after the Day of Arafat.
Significance: It is a place for gathering pebbles for the stoning ritual and for performing the Maghrib and Isha prayers together.
Facilities: There are no formal accommodations, but pilgrims typically rest under the open sky, often on the ground.
Jabal-E-Soor (Mountain of Soor): Jabal-E-Soor is not one of the main sites for Hajj but is significant in Islamic history. It is believed to be the mountain where Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his companion Abu Bakr (RA) hid from the Quraysh during their migration to Medina.
Significance: The cave at the top of the mountain, known as “Cave of Soor,” holds historical importance as it represents the early struggles faced by the Prophet and his followers.
Jabal-E-Noor (Mountain of Light): Located near Makkah, Jabal-E-Noor is known for the cave of Hira, where Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) received his first revelation from Angel Gabriel.
Significance: This site is sacred for Muslims, as it marks the beginning of the prophetic mission. Pilgrims often hike to the cave to reflect and pray.
Hiking: The ascent to Jabal-E-Noor can be challenging, and it usually takes about 30-45 minutes to reach the cave.
Jannatul Muallah (Cemetery of Muallah): Jannatul Muallah is the main cemetery in Makkah, located near the Grand Mosque. It is the burial site for several notable figures, including the relatives of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
Significance: This cemetery is significant for visitors who wish to pay respects to deceased relatives or notable Islamic personalities. The graves include those of the Prophet’s mother, Amina, and his grandfather, Abdul Muttalib.
Visiting Etiquette: Pilgrims often visit Jannatul Muallah as part of their pilgrimage to pray for the deceased and reflect on the transient nature of life.

Visiting Madinah is a profound spiritual experience for Muslims, filled with historical significance and opportunities for worship. Here’s a detailed overview of some of the key Islamic historical places in Madinah, along with the importance of regular prayers (Salah) and Ibadah (worship):
Masjid Al-Nawabi (The Prophet’s Mosque): Masjid Al-Nawabi is one of the largest mosques in the world and the second holiest site in Islam after the Kaaba in Makkah. It was originally built by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in 622 CE.
Significance: The mosque houses the tomb of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and is a place of prayer, reflection, and community. It is where the Prophet delivered many sermons and established the early Muslim community.
Regular Prayers: Pilgrims are encouraged to pray their obligatory prayers here, as praying in Masjid Al-Nawabi is believed to hold immense rewards. It is also highly recommended to offer Sunnah prayers and engage in additional worship (Nafl) to gain further blessings.
Jannatul Baqee (Cemetery of Baqee): Located near Masjid Al-Nawabi, Jannatul Baqee is the main cemetery in Madinah where many companions of the Prophet, including family members, are buried.

Significance: It is highly recommended to perform two Rak’ahs of prayer here, as it is said that offering Salah in Quba Masjid holds the same reward as performing Umrah.

GENERAL:
- Package price applicable for Travel with Group.
- Package is fully non-refundable and non-changeable.
- 03 Doses (Booster Doses) vaccinations are required and approved vaccines are, Pfizer/AstraZeneca, Moderna, Jhonson.
- All services depend subject to availability at the time of booking and package cost can be changed upon room/hotel availability.
- Then conversation of the above package price based on current riyal/USD conversion rates with BDT, if the conversion rate of riyal or USD change during the final booking confirmation of package inclusion services, then the package price will also change.
- There are no differences between Standard, Superior, and Premium packages except only hotels.
- If breakfast is not included in the package, in that case, if the hotel is mandatory to have breakfast while booking those hotels or while booking any other similar hotels with breakfast then the breakfast charge will be added to the package price.
- Any changes can occur without prior notice.
- Visa processing is subject to Ministry of Foreign Affairs approval (MOFA).
- No refund in case of unused services or lesser duration of stay.
- Travelley reserves the right to charge extra amount for package inclusion services if unexpected charges add by the legal authorities.
- Nusuk App is mandatory for Madinah Rawda Ziarah, Please Install This app before departure and book your slot ASAP.
VEHICLE STATUS:
- All the transportations for Jeddah / Makkah / Madinah and Ziyarah will be provided by private basis for the group of 12-15 pax. Mentioned that, maximum 2 luggages are allowed for per person. However, for private transportations or private Ziyarah vehicle size will be based on the number of guests. Moreover, the number of seat must be equal to the number of guests.
- Vehicle Waiting Time Period: for private transportations 120 Minutes at Haj Terminal and 15 Minutes at hotel.
- Transportation timings / vehicle types can’t be changed unless informed before 24 Hrs, additional charges may apply. All guests must maintain time that mentioned in voucher. Car will never wait for anyone.
- For group package every transfer will be in group/sharing. If any time schedule needs to change then Travelley has the right to do so. Therefore, our operation manager will let you know by prior notice.
Note: If cars delay for any Traffic Jam/Prayer Period/Road Block then Travelley is not responsible for that.
HOTEL POLICIES:
- As per Saudi Arabian Hotel policy standard “Check-In” time is 04:00 PM and “Check-Out” time is 12:00 PM. Travelley is not responsible for early check-in and late check-out.
- Only Hotel Authorities reserve the right to provide available room as per booking, if anyone has any special request to change room then guests have to communicate with hotel reception and our operation manager. However, Travelley is not responsible for that if unable to change room – if refused by hotel.
PASSPORT POLICIES:
- During your stay in Saudi Arabia, do not give passports to the driver or our local agent at the airport or any other places. However, the legal authority or our agent may take your passport for few times at the airport to perform their official work. If you handed over passport to anyone or loss your passport, then you will take all the responsibility.
FLIGHT SCHEDULE:
- For any kind of natural issues for example: if Airlines change the flight schedule before the day of departure, then hotel booking will not change as per nonrefundable policy and if Airlines change the flight schedule before the day of return, then extra hotel accommodation charge will be added.
- For any kind of natural issues like if flight delay or missing luggage by airlines then Travelley will not responsible for that.
